Mall of the Emirates: 1.300 parking spaces added

An additionial 1,300 parking spaces have been added to the Mall of the Emirates as part of numerous redevelopment projects worth $176.5m (AED1bn).
The Evolution 2015 strategic redevelopment project, by Majid Al Futtaim, focuses on the redevelopment, expansion and enhancement of the parking facilities.
It project will see the overall ambience, directional signage, pedestrian access and lighting significantly upgraded - along with various other renovations aimed at enhancing visitors' experience.
The new parking deck on level 4, which has rooftop shade protection and direct access to the mall, takes the total number of parking spaces to 7,200.
Work on the ground floor parking area is now complete, with all upper levesl fully available - along with a new taxi rank which allows 40 additional taxis to be located at Welcome Court 4.
