Egypt to announce real estate regulations tomorrow

The country's housing minister Mostafa Madbouly will reveal the new real estate regulations, prepared in collaboration with Egypt's Ministry of Investment

Mostafa Madbouly, Egypt's Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development, is due to reveal newly-prepared real estate regulations for the country tomorrow, Tuesday, 15 September, 2015.

Madbouly will make the announcement at Cityscape Egypt Real Estate Summit in Cairo. 

The minister said the new real estate regulations have been prepared following review and amendments by the country's Ministry of Investment.

"We have consulted a number of investors and put their input into consideration," he said, as per local daily Amwal Alghad.

"We will sign an MOU with the Ministry of Investment to apply the one stop shop system in New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA)," he added. 

The Minister of Housing will be joined by Ashraf Salman, Minister of Investment in the country, and Dr Khaled Hanafy, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade.
