Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) announced the completion of upgrading of works related to survey data, drawings, and certificates such that all procedures relating to site survey will now be available online.

On the occasion, HE Musabbah Mubarak Al Murar, acting director general of ADM, said: "This project stems from the Municipal System's keenness to accomplish the electronic transition of all transactions and services in keeping up with the expectations of customers and community members.

"The handheld computer system will enable the offering all data of field surveys aims at sharing data between the office and the field (construction or project site); which will enhance the odds of delivering quality services to the public as a result of allocating more time to the field survey by the surveyor, and accordingly expediting the processing of transactions and increase productivity as well," added Al Murar.

The importance of the project is marked by the automation of the survey works through dispatching survey transactions to surveyors at site online using the existing communication systems.

Following the completion of the transaction by the surveyor, the transaction is referred to the survey data auditor at the office for validating & verifying details.

It is possible to collect the signatures of those concerned with taking-over sites online directly on the approved certificates.

uch a step will reflect positively on customers satisfaction as it involves shorter transaction processing time, and increases the accuracy & quality of the final deliverable in addition to other positives such reducing visits of customers to the head office of ADM , which will accordingly contribute to reducing traffic congestion.
