Dubai Supreme Council of Energy signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with RWE Middle East to exchange experiences and learn about the latest global developments in energy.

The agreement lays the foundations for a deeper collaboration with the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy in management services and technical consultation.

The MoU was signed by Ahmed Butti Al Muhairbi, secretary-general of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, and Pierre Samaties, CEO of RWE Middle East, WAM reported.

Al Muhairbi said: "We are pleased to sign the MoU with a global energy organisation.

"RWE Middle East was involved in developing the Demand Side Management Strategy, and is currently supporting the Supreme Council of Energy in updating the Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy 2030."
