Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) has signed an agreement granting the right for the distribution of its Genie products in Iraq to the Iraq-based Khudairi Group.

Khudairi Group will now supply Genie self-propelled scissor lifts, articulating and telescoping booms, telehandlers, portable material lifts, aerial work platforms, light towers and trailer mounted booms, while supporting sales with preventative maintenance contracts and spare parts stocking facilities.

Subhi Khudairi, president of Khudairi Group, stated: “Genie’s mission is closely aligned with our dealership’s mission to provide unparalleled customer service, and we are eager to work with the Genie team to continue to provide best-in-class products and services to our customers in Iraq.”

With facilities in Baghdad, Basrah, Erbil, and Sulaymaniyah, Khudairi Group is already the exclusive dealer for John Deere Construction Equipment and Sany Heavy Machinery, and a leading provider of heavy machinery solutions for the oil and gas, construction and FMCG industries in Iraq.

This partnership combines the strengths of both companies to offer end customers a wide range of heavy machinery services in Iraq’s fast-growing industrial and construction market.
