UAE's Sharjah to construct 14m sqf industrial park

Sharjah Asset Management will develop Al Saja'a Industrial Oasis, which will offer 353 plots through freehold and lease plans

The UAE's Sharjah Emirate will construct an industrial park spanning 14 million sqf. 

Al Saja’a Industrial Oasis is planned to become one of the largest of its kind in the region.

Sharjah Asset Management, Sharjah Government's invest arm, will oversee the project's development. 

The park will comprise 353 plots, and will be situated on Emirates Road, close to Sharjah International Airport and Al Hamriya Port. 

Gregg Downer, CEO at Sharjah Asset Management, said: “This development will be officially launched in the near future and with full development details.

“Registered investors will not only benefit from the exclusive plots launched at Stage 1, but shall also have priority to the Stage 2 launch to select their preferred plot prior to the wider public sales.” 

According to local daily Gulf News, the plots will be offered on freehold or lease basis.

A registration website, www.alsajaaoasis.com, has been set up for interested investors can block their preferred industrial and mixed-use plots.
