DuPont Participates at safety conference in Qatar
Running from 27 – 28 October, 2015, the Asset Integrity and Process Safety (AIPS) World conference focuses on a number of asset management processes for sectors like mining, petrochemical and power generation.
DuPont Sustainable Solutions (DSS), a DuPont business focused on process technology, has confirmed its participation at this year’s Asset Integrity and Process Safety (AIPS) World conference.
DSS is expected to showcase its Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance (MIQA) platform, designed to promote and maintain safety in the oil & gas industry. MIQA is an effective tool at mitigating the effects of process safety incidents through the use of safety interlocks and protective devices.
Franco Polli, OpEx Solutions architect, DuPont Sustainable Solutions, Middle East, was invited to participate as a speaker on one of the event’s many panel sessions.
Commenting on his participation, Polli shared: “It is an honour to be chosen as one of the speakers for AIPS, alongside many others who hold key positions within companies that are leading in the oil and gas sector.”
He added: “We believe that the AIPS provides the perfect platform for this discussion and we hope that through MIQA many companies will be able to enhance their efficiency and productivity in a safe and effective manner.”
Set to run from 27 – 28 October, 2015, the annual summit focuses on a asset management processes for a variety of industrial sectors. These include mining, petrochemical and power generation.
