Gulf Navigation inks deal with Dana gas
Gulf Navigation is providing logistic, transportation, marine & passenger/crew handling services to Dana Gas for Zora gas field project
Gulf Navigation Maritime had signed an agreement with Dana Gas to provide complete logistic, transportation, marine, and passenger/crew handling services for the Zora Gas Field project.
The natural gas company is currently engaged in the development of gas production in the Zora Gas Field located 30 km from Sharjah and the Ajman coastline at a depth of 82 feet. It will produce and supply gas to Sharjah via an onshore processing facility.
Under the terms of agreement, Gulf Navigation Maritime will provide marine and port services, including a dedicated fully-manned crew boat/guard vessel for patrolling the offshore jacket, close coordination with the port authority for vessel registration and berthing plan, vessel brokerage, and diving operation permits.
It also undertakes customs clearance for air and sea shipments from vendor base to the Hamriyah Free Zone and vice versa as well as immigration clearance process such as vessel registration, crew change, and visa arrangements.
It is the first gas exploration and production project for Dana Gas in the GCC region and Gulf Navigation Maritime support has helped to maintain high efficiencies, prompt transfer of cargo and personals and safe operations.
Gulf Navigation Maritime has a strong presence in the UAE, serving all terminals and commercial ports and handling all types of vessel and cargo with branch offices at Dubai, Fujairah, Sharjah and Khorfakkan.
Additionally Gulf Navigation Maritime is the sole sales and distribution agent in the Arabian Gulf of all products of Marichem-Marigases and also acts as a distributor agent for Lankhorst Ropes.
