Imdaad's Budget Day unveils 2016 strategies

In addition to highlighting achievements over the past year, the IFM provider’s business units presented proposed strategies and budgets for 2016

Imdaad tendered its budget for the upcoming year during its recent Budget Day meeting.

In attendance was the company’s business units, which gathered to present recommended strategies for the upcoming year.

Both senior management and the head of the business units discussed the milestones achieved over the last year. This included the formation of a strategic partnership with WMS Metal Industries and the launch of the company’s recycling initiative aimed at diverting 2,000 tonnes of waste from landfill annually.

Imdaad’s team also discussed the three-year contract signed with Emirates Transport to manage its vehicles and equipment.

Furthermore, the session also delved into the challenges and opportunities currently present across the regional FM market, which is driven by a $172bn construction sector. Imdaad’s team also discussed Saudi Arabia’s emerging FM market currently valued at $20bn and expected to grow at 10% per annum.

Commenting at the annual meeting, Jamal Abdullah Lootah, CEO, Imdaad, said: “Aside from aiming for the company’s expansion, we also make sure that each one of our 4,500 employees has achieved personal and professional growth. Let us work together with the same vigour and enthusiasm to make Imdaad the leading name in FM and waste management in the Middle East.”
