Cluttons appoints new Abu Dhabi head

Cluttons has appointed of Edward Carnegy, as the new head for the consultancy in Abu Dhabi.
With Abu Dhabi’s on-going drive for economic diversification helping to underpin growth in the Emirate’s property market against a backdrop of low oil prices. Carnegy will be tasked with growing and diversifying Cluttons client base of international and regional occupiers and investors in the capital as well as strengthening existing relationships with major landlords in the capital.
Carnegy brings over ten years’ experience working within the real estate sector in the UAE and has previously held key positions at CBRE and Gulf Resources Development and Investment, providing a broad range of consultancy services, investment acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, and strategic corporate services to clients.
Commenting on the appointment, Steve Morgan, Head of Cluttons Middle East said: “With extensive regional knowledge and understanding of the real estate market in the UAE, Edward is exceptionally qualified to lead the team in Abu Dhabi. Carnegy will be responsible for leading Cluttons’ Abu Dhabi office to deliver a range of services including residential sales and leasing, commercial leasing and investment, consultancy, property and facilities management and valuation.
