Five minutes with: Najmeddine Sharaoui, MB Crusher
MB Crusher’s regional manager for the Middle East, Najmeddine Sahraoui, talks to Paromita Dey about his expectations for The Big 5 2015
How would you rate MB Crusher Middle East’s recent performance?
We had an excellent year in 2014, and I expect 2015 to be even better. MB Crusher is currently increasing its volume of affairs in the Middle East.
We are supplying good quantities of machinery to Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Other projects in the UAE and Oman – be they big or small – are also using our products.
Which of your products are you planning to showcase during this year’s show?
The Big 5 is an important event for us, and we intend to exhibit three machinery lines at the 2015 show. Firstly, we will show our BF135 and BF90 bucket crushers.
MB’s second exhibit will be its screening bucket models. Finally, we plan to display bucket crushers that are compatible with backhoe, skid-steer, and compact-track loaders.
What are your expectations and goals for this year’s exhibition?
Based on our interactions during last year’s show, I expect to pick up good business for MB Crusher at The Big 5 2015. Many of MB’s clients from the UAE and wider GCC will be in attendance. I’m also in contact with people who won’t be able to come to the exhibition, but who are interested in MB’s products. Either way, I expect us to do well at this year’s event, and beyond.
What are the strategies and plans you have lined up for MB Crusher in 2016?
Year after year, we continue to update and renovate products at our main factory in Italy. We’re keen to increase the value of our operations in our core markets this year.
In 2016, we are planning to manufacture and market some new products in the field of crushing.
What is your target audience at this year’s edition of The Big 5?
We have previously participated in numerous exhibitions in the Middle East. We were in Muscat in October 2015 for the Infra Oman summit. We also participated in Saudi Build 2015 in Riyadh during the same month.
Our target at The Big 5 this year will be to connect with our dealers based in the Middle East.
We also hope to meet professionals from construction outfits, mining companies, and road contractors etc.
