Abu Dhabi-based Ghantoot Transport and General Contracting has won a contract worth US $81 million (AED300 million) to carry out earthworks for the Falcon City of Wonders project in Dubailand.

The contract involves the complete site levelling of the project.

The $1.5 billion development will feature landmarks from all over the world, as well as hotels, villas, apartments, restaurants, schools and health clubs.

Hyder Consulting Middle East was appointed earlier this year to carry out infrastructure design for the project.

“Establishing a solid foundation is a critical component for the successful construction of Falcon City of Wonders,” said project CEO, Salem Al Moosa.
