Ezdan Real Estate Company has announced a planned refurbishment of its housing units in Al Wakrah and Al Wukair, Qatar.

A subsidiary of the Ezdan Holding Group, the company said it would overhaul 7,200 housing units in 12 residential villages in Al Wakrah and Al Wukair areas.

The ongoing renovation process forms part of the company’s plan to upgrade furniture in various Ezdan villages, while improving the company services and meet the needs of the tenants.

Ali Al Obaidli, CEO of Ezdan Holding Group noted that the firm has launched a development plan forits real estate assets and other facilities. The intention is to renovate furniture and appliances, keeping up with the pace of the modern housing requirements and standards.

He added that the initiative is being followed in line with the increasing population in vital areas such as Al Wakrah and Al Wukair,

The group seeks to move into new stages of development; namely, improving its housing and maintaining services.

The number of tenants in Ezdan Villages has reached more than 70,000 people, inspiring the group to study and consider all possible development initiatives in order to reinforce services in its villages.

Ezdan Holding Group has announced a new development strategy earlier this year, covering all its buildings and facilities, including hotels and residential compounds.

The group is seeking to adapt those buildings into stylish units, meeting the needs of all residents, with a focus on environment and resources preservation.

In compliance with Qatar's comprehensive plan to rationalise water and energy consumption, and conserve natural resources for future generations, the group has recently converted 20,000 of its housing units into water saving units, with the ability to save up to 40% on water consumption.
