Dubai-based Consent LLC bought a concrete block machine from Techmatik for $2.7m at the Middle East Concrete and PMV Live component of this year’s The Big 5 trade exhibition.

The Techmatik SHP 5000 PRO C can manufacture concrete blocks from 40mm to 550mm, but the key selling point of the machines was its low energy consumption and noise pollution. It is also designed for production using steel pallets, which ensures the quality of the concrete products.

Alan Sakr, group GM at Consent, said: “We are working on a lot of projects so it is hard to say what the equipment will be used for but Dubai’s Palm Islands and several parks around the city including Zabeel are some of our most important ongoing projects.”

Dariusz Kupidura from Techmatik said: “We are a family owned company and relationships have always been important to us. This may be the start of an excellent business partnership.”

Consent has one of the largest production capacity for concrete products in the UAE, exporting of masonry blocks, kerbstones, granix tiles and custom-made precast elements across the world.

Techmatik supplies block machines, moulds, mixing plants and machines to vibrate, press and produce ready-mixed concrete.
