Kuwait International Airport adopts smart parking
Deployed by United Projects for Aviation Services Company, the automated parking system aims to streamline traffic and reduce airport congestion
United Projects for Aviation Services Company (UPAC) has recently completed the second phase of the installation of an automated car parking system at the Kuwait International Airport.
Designed to streamline traffic and reduce congestion during peak hours and travel seasons, UPAC’s system oversees all commercial space at the airport. This includes the airport mall and the car park, which comprises of 2,200 parking spaces.
UPAC’s automated parking systems comprises of two auto pay units in the airport terminal, as well as in the entry and exit areas for the long and short-term parking. The second phase also involved the creation of additional exit lanes.
