Ooredoo Kuwait trains employees on fire evacuation
The training programme was conducted in close collaboration with the General Department of Civil Defence of the Ministry of Interior.
Ooredoo Kuwait has hosted a lecture on fire safety and emergency evacuation processes in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior.
Conducted by Lieutenant Hassan Al-Enezi from the General Department of Civil Defence, the lecture was held at the company’s headquarters in Kuwait City. In attendance were Ooredoo’s employees and the Committee Wardens.
In addition to covering practices for ensuring the safety and security of employees during emergency situations, the lectures also provided a framework for Ooredoo to devise internal procedures and processes.
The collaboration will also include future training seminars that will focus on enhancing internal security systems, in addition to firming up evacuation plans.
Part of the Ooredoo Group from Qatar, Ooredoo Kuwait has already incorporated a number of security procedures and fire drills, including both pre and post activity and fire alarm tests.
The company has extended its evacuation plans to apply to both employees, as well as visitors and customers. Ooredoo has also incorporate a health and safety management procedure that is compliant with the State of Kuwait’s health and safety regulation.
Beginning operations in Kuwait back in December 1999, Ooredoo provides mobile, broadband internet and corporate managed services.
