The CW Awards 2015 Project Manager of the Year was rewarded in Dubai.

Chris Lucas from Faithful + Gould bagged the Project Manager of the Year at the Construction Week Awards 2015 held on Wednesday, 9 December at InterContinental – Dubai Festival City.

In the words of one of the judges, “Chris’s ability to sustain cohesiveness amongst all parties on all project related decisions was without a doubt the most important factor in this project’s successful delivery. His approach to stakeholder management is a testament to his organisational and leadership abilities.”

This year’s highly commended project manager was to Manos Kappas from Innovations Unlimited Middle East.

Upon receiving his award, Lucas told Construction Week: "I'm very pleased to have won the award and it is a privilege to have been nominated for it by industry peers." 

Remarking on an anticipated talent crunch in the local employment market, Lucas added: "Faithful+Gould has [the capabilities] to attract good quality people, and I have been able to call on that for all projects I have worked on. 

"Having a big brother figure in Atkins helps [attracting quality talent] as well," Lucas continued.

Arumugame Rajesh, Arabian MEP, Simon Elleray, BMM and Sushil Kumar - Towell Construction & Co. L.L.C.

An independent panel of eight judges made up of industry professionals from across the GCC and throughout the construction sector came up with the final decision in each of the 14 categories.
