The Construction Week Awards 2015 ceremony was a fitting farewell to the eventful year this has been for the GCC, and rounded off our regional events held during 2015 on a high note.

The awards honoured the individuals, companies, projects, innovations, and achievements that have excelled in the field over the course of the last 12 months.

The ceremony took place at the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City hotel on 9 December, 2015.

Health and Safety Initiative of the Year

Winner: Action Notice System, ALEC.

Highly commended: Work at Heights Safe Working Platform, Brookfield Multiplex

CSR Initiative of the Year

Winner: Multiple initiatives, BAM Higgs and Hill.

Highly commended: Disaster Relief & Shelter Programme, Arcadis

Sustainable Initiative of the Year

Winner: Outdoor Thermal Comfort, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff Middle East.

Highly commended: The Biofuel Initiative, Brookfield Multiplex.

Infrastructure Project of the Year

Winner: Shah Habshan Ruwais Etihad Rail, Saipem

Tower Project of the Year
