Fuel prices for January have been reduced in the UAE.

The UAE's Fuel Price Follow-Up Committee revealed January fuel prices for the country on 28 December, 2015.

Fuel prices in the UAE are set on a monthly basis since the country announced it will remove gas subsidies in an attempt to curb the impact of oil price fluctuations on its economy.

Gasoline prices for the month have been set at AED1.69 per litre for Super (98 Octane) fuel, AED1.58 per litre for Special (95 Octane) fuel, and AED1.51 per litre for E Plus (91 Octane) fuel.

Diesel will be priced at AED1.61 per litre in January.

The meeting was chaired by Dr Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Energy in the UAE.
