Empower gains management systems re-certification

Empower has been re-certified for integrated management systems by Bureau Veritas.

The district cooling provider was audited for three management systems ISO 9001:2008, OHSAS 18001:2007, and Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001:2004.

The certifications recognise set of standards for Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.

HE Ahmad Bin Shafar, chief executive officer of Empower, said: "Empower works in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to achieve the highest standards of excellence and innovation in all fields of our operations.
