Macro nabs five-year contract with global law firm
The FM provider will deliver on-site account management and core facilities services at the London offices of the global law firm
Macro has recently been awarded a five-year contract to oversee management of the London offices belonging to a global law firm.
Though unable to reveal the name of the global law firm due to confidentiality issues, Macro stated that as per the $14.27mn contract, the FM provider will deliver on-site account management and core facilities services.
This includes supply chain management for maintenance, security, and cleaning, as well as operation of a 24-hour helpdesk.
Ross Abbate, managing director of Europe and the Americas at Macro, said: “Macro was selected because the client felt our business model of ‘One Team’ fit its ethos, values and culture. We demonstrated we could deliver improved services at the same time as operational efficiencies.”
Macro will also introduce Concept Evolution, its computer aided facilities management (CAFM) software, as part of the managed service contract.
The software will be utilised for reactive requests for the helpdesk and assist in organised planned maintenance for the supply chain partner. Concept Evolution will also be used to generate reports that Macro will utilise to track its performance.
A spokesman for the global law firm said: “We selected them [Macro] not only because they will deliver the maximum benefits to our business, both financially and in terms of improved service delivery, but also because they can provide enhanced personal and career development opportunities to those of our staff who have transferred to Macro under the new arrangements.”
