Ezdan Holding to focus on Ethiopia development

Ezdan Holding Group plans to strengthen its investment strategies in Ethiopia, according to chairman Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Thani bin Abdullah Al Thani. 

Opportunities for Qatari investors were discussed between Sheikh Dr Khalid and the Ethiopian prime minister Hailemariam Desalegan, The Peninsula reported.

The Ethiopian prime minister extended all support from his government for the proposal and hailed the strong relations between Qatar and Ethiopia.

The meeting focused mainly on ways of collaboration and boosting relationships between the two countries and forging long lasting strategic bonds in various sectors, most notably industry, real estate and health.

Sheikh Dr Khalid said Ezdan, in cooperation with the municipality of Addis Ababa, will identify an appropriate location for the project and he stated the Ethiopian side is eager to attract Qatari investments.

The resort project features high-quality technical specifications in terms of facilities and services which will contribute to raising the quality of real estate products available in the Ethiopian market.
