A fire broke out in the UAE's Sharjah Emirate on Sunday, 21 February. 

The blaze destroyed a total of 19 cars. 

The fire broke out in the female campus of Sharjah University shortly before 11am.

The authority tweeted its personnel was battling the fire on site, and confirmed no injuries from the blaze. 

No cause was ascertained for the blaze. 

“Sharjah Civil Defence has control over the university city fire and now the cooling process is underway,” the authority said in a tweet.
