UrbaCon Trading & Contracting continues to maintain its injury-free track record, despite being involved in major projects throughout Qatar

Qatar-based UrbaCon Trading & Contracting has been upholding its injury-free track record while involved in several huge projects in the region.

CEO Moataz Al Khayyat, stated that this is owing to the excellent safety standards and effective project management skills.

“Continuous health and safety surveillance is maintained with safety audits carried out at regular intervals,” he remarked, while speaking at the 11th International Emergency and Catastrophe Management Conference and Exhibition in Dubai, UAE.

He added: “UrbaCon employees are equipped with all necessary personal protection equipment prior to entering any of the work sites.”

In addition to the Mall of Qatar, included in UrbaCon’s major projects are the Banana Island Resort, the Sheraton Doha Hotel and Convention Centre, and the Lekhwiya Stadium at Al Duhail, said Al Khayyat.

UrbaCon had recently received International Safety Award by the British Safety Council for its dedication towards ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, he added.
