Farnek partners with Exeo for time attendance app
The IFM provider will reportedly be the first facilities management company in the UAE to utilise Exeo's TIME Attendance Solution.
Farnek has inked an agreement with Exeo, a Google Apps Partner, to deploy its TIME Attendance Solution.
The cloud-based platform will be utilised by Farnek’s 3,500 strong workforce as a means to monitor time and attendance.
According to the team at Farnek, the company will be the first facilities management firm in the UAE to utilise the online facility.
As part of the implementation process, Farnek will begin equipping employees with smart watches and smartphones that are pre-loaded with Exeo's software.
The system will enable employees to file real-time reports and access company resources, while managers can schedule work rotations and ascertain employee movements via GPS.
Commenting on the new approach, Markus Oberlin, CEO, Farnek, said: “In today’s complex and expensive built environment, modern buildings are highly technical, operating with next generation property management systems (PMS).”
He added: “To deliver optimal performance, seconds literally count, in terms of the damage an electrical fault or a water leak can do to a $250 million building. Our business strategy is to become early adopters of all technological innovation, relevant to our sector.”
Farnek is also in the process of compiling online training videos and case studies for staff. These instructional materials are intended to help familiarise the company’s employees to the new processes. Management will then be able to monitor the sessions and issue training certificates, once complete.
Additionally features include text and video chat, as well as a facility to accommodate document and photo exchange.
“Senior managers can now identify, communicate, manage, train and direct our field-based technicians on the go,” commented Oberlin.
“At the same time, we offer our customers a real time attendance system, online incident reports, automated supervisor alerts as well as online dashboards and real time reports, in addition to our existing remote monitoring,” he concluded.
