Danube Properties, the real estate development arm of the UAE's Danube Group, has renamed its Dubai project, formerly known as Ritz by Danube.

Ritz by Danube has been renamed to Starz.

The residential project in Al Furjan was launched in December 2015 at a cost of $81.6m (AED300m), and comprise 452 studio, one-, and two-bedroom units.

Construction Week has approached Danube Properties for further details, and will update this story if or when Danube responds.

Danube launched Ritz with the premise of homeowners being able to convert 'one room into two'.

The rooms feature a bed which can be tucked into the wall during the day, thus creating a larger living room space.

At night it can be lowered to transform the accommodation into a bedroom.
