Injaz UAE and Honeywell to support Emirati youth
The two firms have signed a three-year agreement to support the skills development of Emirati youth across a number of academic disciplines.
Honeywell and Injaz UAE have signed a three-year agreement to support the skills development of Emirati students.
As per the partnership, the firms will collaborate on rolling-out work science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) focused work-readiness training programs.
Honeywell is tasked with providing volunteer mentoring to science and engineering students through the STEM-themed Innovation Day Camps.
The partnership is expected to benefit up to 6,000 students over the next three years.
Commenting on the programme, Norm Gilsdorf, president, Honeywell Middle East, Russia and Central Asia, shared: "Our partnership with INJAZ UAE is an important milestone for Honeywell in the region, and will play a significant role in helping to strengthen the development of the UAE's future workforce."
Sulaf Saleh Al-Zu'bi, CEO of INJAZ UAE, said: "INJAZ UAE and Honeywell have a common vision that falls in line with the UAE's aim to foster local talent.
"We're partnering with Honeywell to bring the UAE's science and engineering students together to help ensure they have the right STEM skills to develop, design, and innovate."
Honeywell’s collaboration with INJAZ UAE is supported by Honeywell Hometown Solutions, the firm’s corporate citizenship initiative.
The programme has helped over 2 million students receive STEM education worldwide.
