The Glamz residential project, scheduled for completion in 2018, comprises 418 studios, one and two bedroom apartments

Danube Properties has announced the launch of its sixth project - the $81.6m (AED300m) Glamz Residence development in the Al Furjan area of Dubai.

The development, which is scheduled for completion in 2018, comprises 418 studios, one and two-bedroom apartments.

Each is fitted with a modular kitchen, bathroom fittings, furniture and a convertible sofa that transforms into a bed.

The project will feature landscaped gardens, kids play area, jogging track, paddle tennis court, paddle badminton court, BBQ deck, health club and a swimming pool.

Prices start from $122,000 for a studio - with the development being targeted at the affordable housing segment.

Rizwan Sajan, founder & chairman, Danube Group, said: "We are delighted to announce the launch of Glamz Residence with an aim to encourage people to 'stop renting and start owning."

Glamz is located within close proximity to Al Maktoum International Airport and the Dubai Expo 2020 site.

Danube's first project Dremz is on schedule for delivery, while other projects - Glitz 1, Glitz 2, Glitz 3 and Starz - are all 4-5 months ahead of schedule.
