Construction begins on luxury project in MBR City
Gemini Splendor marks the first of the Indian developer's projects in the Middle East
Construction works began on Gemini Splendor, a luxury residential project located within Dubai's Mohammed Bin Rashid (MBR) City.
Gemini Splendor, being developed by India's Gemini Property Developers, joins a growing list of luxury residential buildings to be announced in Dubai in recent times.
The project is set within a built-up area of over 29,728 sqm, and is expected to be complete in early 2018.
Following its groundbreaking this month, the construction work has been initiated at the site by the developers.
The project will feature a total of 134 units of well-planned one, two and three-bedroom apartments, penthouses and townhouses equipped with state-of-the-art amenities. Apartment units range from 72.4 sqm to 316 sqm.
In addition, the building will also host comprehensive retail, shopping and entertainment facilities, along with extensive green spaces.
Sudhakar R Rao, managing director of Gemini Property Developers, stated: "This milestone project marks an important phase of our entry into the real estate industry and reinforces our commitment to deliver key projects in one of the most sought-after Middle Eastern markets."
The company has awarded the enabling works contract to National Piling and will be announcing the contract for the main construction soon. The company has already registered itself as a developer with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and has opened escrow account as per the Trust Account Law.
The project has been designed by global architecture firm AEDAS, and the detailed design for the project has been executed by Dubai Consultants.
