ASTAD establishes consultancy arm, ASTAD Consult

ASTAD Project Management has announced the establishment of ASTAD Consult, a division that will offer design, construction, and operational consultancy services in Qatar and the wider Middle East

ASTAD Project Management has announced the establishment of ASTAD Consult, a division that will offer design, construction, and operational consultancy services in Qatar and the wider Middle East.

The Qatar-headquartered firm also reiterated its intention to expand geographically through ASTAD International.

Ali Al-Khalifa, chief executive officer of ASTAD, told Construction Week that ASTAD Consult and ASTAD International represent key parts of the company’s long-term growth strategy.

“I am pleased to announce the establishment of ASTAD International and ASTAD Consult, [which] will play a crucial role in future operations, furthering our vision to provide superior services across the globe,” he explained.

“ASTAD International will act as our global arm, while ASTAD Consult will be home to new services covering the fields of construction management and supervision, design consultancy, facilities management (FM), asset management, and staff augmentation,” Al-Khalifa concluded.

ASTAD International was initially unveiled at Cityscape Global 2015, at which the firm announced the establishment of its first overseas office in Dubai, UAE.
