Hidd Al Saadiyat has commenced the construction of its marina construction, which is scheduled for completion in April 2017.

Conveniently designed to reflect the project's serene surroundings, the private marina is set to feature a pedestrian walk encompassing a view of the landscape within a leisurely and relaxing atmosphere.

It will also be equipped with 110 berths for boats of different sizes, directly linked to the beach, and easily accessible by car, boat or water taxi.

Hidd Al Saadiyat’s Greg Slingerland, project director, commented: “We are witnessing the evolution of Hidd Al Saadiyat into a development especially now with the construction of the long-anticipated marina.

"Our continued collaboration with leading contracting companies such as Ghantoot Group further reinforces our commitment to making Hidd Al Saadiyat an exclusive neighborhood just a stone’s throw away from the island’s pristine beaches and turquoise waters.”

As part of its social and environmental responsibility, Hidd Al Saadiyat adopts the best practices of Estidama’s Pearl 2 Sustainability Protocol through the close collaboration with Abu Dhabi’s Urban Planning Council.

Managed by LEAD Development, the marina has also been designed to meet the Estidama’s Pearl 2 rating.
