Construction underway at luxury MBR City project

Gemini Property Developers has begun construction of Gemini Splendro - the first of a series of luxury residential projects in the GCC over the next few years.

Gemini Splendor, scheduled for completion in early 2018, will feature 134 units consisting of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, penthouses and townhouses.

With a built-up area of over 320,000 sq ft, the development will be located in the Hartland community of Dubai's Mohammed Bin Rashid (MBR) City.

Gemini Splendor will host a variety of retail, shopping and entertainment facilities as well as green spaces, according to a statement from the developer as cited by Arabian Business.

Sudhakar R Rao, managing director of Gemini Property Developers, said: "This milestone project marks an important phase of our entry into the real estate industry and reinforces our commitment to deliver key projects in one of the most sought-after Middle Eastern markets."

An enabling works contract for the project has awarded to National Piling - wih the main construction contract expected to be announced soon.
