MEP systems upgrade required at Eithad Airways

Eithad Airways has sought expressions of interest to upgrade infrastructure at the Eithad Southside catering facility in Abu Dhabi

NEWS, MEP, Etihad Airways

Eithad Airways has sought expressions of interest to upgrade infrastructure at the Eithad Southside catering facility in Abu Dhabi.

The 35-year-old complex consists of two ajoined buildings with a combined floor area of 18,600m2.

The facility requires renovation of the MEP systems to bring them in line with the increased capacity requirements, FLS upgrades to meet authority requirements, and three specific area extensions and associated external works  to the front of the building

The facility is currently being used by Etihad to provide on average 70,000 meals per day and with the intended renovation this will be boosted to 90,000 per day.
