ConstructionWeekOnline.com set a new online traffic record in May 2016, surpassing the one-million page view mark in the process.

The website attracted more than 1.1-million page views in May, the latest in a series of high-volume months for ConstructionWeekOnline.com.

Traffic was driven by high-profile stories related to Saudi Binladin Group, Qatar Rail, and Marasi Business Bay. The release of Construction Week’s 2016 Power 100 also made a significant contribution.

James Morgan, editor of Construction Week, said: “I’m delighted that ConstructionWeekOnline.com has broken its previous record for online traffic. This milestone would not have been possible without the continued efforts of our editorial team, our many contributors, and of course, our readers.

“It’s no secret that our industry has had to contend with significant challenges during the past two years, and there is still a great deal of work to be done. Nevertheless, there is a genuine sense of optimism among the region’s construction professionals at present.”

Ian Stokes, group publishing director for ITP Business Publishing’s construction, energy and design sectors, added that the website’s increase in traffic was indicative of how the brand continues to build a loyal community across the Middle East.

ConstructionWeekOnline.com’s latest achievement reflects the Construction Week brand’s ability to attract readers by providing timely industry news and information, alongside essential business insights. At the same time, we’re able to bring supply side companies into the mix and provide a multi-medium platform where buyers and sellers can exchange ideas and information,” he added.

In addition to the latest construction-related news and features, the Construction Week brand encompasses a broad selection of industry conferences and events. Leaders in Construction UAE, Leaders in Construction Qatar, Leaders in Construction KSA, MEP Conference UAE, designMENA Summit, and BIM Summit offer industry experts the chance to address challenges and opportunities within their markets.

Meanwhile, Construction Week Awards, Construction Week Awards Qatar, Construction Week KSA Design & Build Awards, Construction Week Oman Awards, MEP Awards, Facilities Management Middle East Awards, Commercial Interior Design Awards, and Middle East Architect Awards are designed to celebrate the achievements of companies, individuals, and projects within their respective fields.

ConstructionWeekOnline.com also hosts content from the industry’s biggest trade magazines: Construction Week, Construction Week Al Arabia, Construction Week Qatar, MEP Middle East, PMV Middle East, Facilities Management Middle East, Commercial Interior Design Middle East, and Middle East Architect.
