Chicago Pneumatic extends genset range to 200kVA
Chicago Pneumatic has extended its CPDG diesel generator range to include models with outputs of up to 200kVA
Chicago Pneumatic has extended its CPDG diesel generator range to include models with outputs of up to 200kVA.
The equipment manufacturer’s original CPDG line-up offered five models ranging from 9kVA to 40kVA.
Six new variants have been added, with outputs from 60kVA to 200kVA.
Commenting on the range extension, Tony Calippe, spokesperson for generator equipment at Chicago Pneumatic, said: “As a result of this expansion, we are now able to offer our customers a complete range of small-to-medium-sized mobile generators, which all provide a combination of exceptional toughness, reliability, and easy operation.”
As with their forebears, Chicago Pneumatic’s latest CPDG units are CE compliant and suitable for prime power applications in the general construction and rental sectors.
The gensets also feature integrated forklift slots and lifting beams, easy-to-read gauges, easy-to-access maintenance points, and galvanised canopies, according to the manufacturer.
A new optional skid has been introduced to add extra robustness to the generators’ base frames. This feature is designed for applications wherein units must sit on uneven surfaces, or be moved across the ground over short distances.
In addition, CPDG units can now be equipped with higher-capacity fuel tanks to offer operators the option of extended run times. The units also offer 500-hour service intervals.
