The units were delivered in a bid to end power cuts in the Yemeni governorate, according to UAE state news agency, WAM.

The Governor of Aden, Brigadier General Aidarous al-Zubaidi, extended his thanks to the UAE’s leadership and people for supporting efforts to improve services in and around the port city.

Al-Zubaidi applauded the role being played by the UAE, as part of Arab Coalition forces, to “restore the legitimacy in Yemen”. The Governor also praised the country’s efforts to support Yemen’s power sector.
