G4S UAE appoints Alida Scholtz as CEO and MD
Alida Scholtz, former vice president and international controller at Hertz, has been appointed as G4S's UAE CEO and MD
Security solutions provider G4S announced it has appointed a new CEO and managing director (MD) for its UAE operations.
Alida Scholtz has been picked as the company's UAE CEO and MD, and will directly report to Claude Allain, president of G4S's Middle East and India markets.
In a career spanning two decades, Scholtz has managed more than 67 markets, including Middle East, Africa, South America, and Europe.
Scholtz was formerly vice president and international controller at Hertz.
At Hertz, Alida led a five-year corporate and global programme that will deliver $250m in savings through transformation activities.
She also appointed as general manager and site lead of Hertz in Dublin, in addition to her role in international finance.
Scholtz was part of the Probus board of directors, where she served a non-executive director advising on risk management for Europe.
Prior to this, she was the regional director for finance and shared services at Johnson Controls in Dubai.
