Tell us about your company?

Sentor Electrical supplies a vast range of quality branded electrical products to MEP contractors and all associated trades within the construction sector. We have bulk stores and offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Oman.

As an associate company of Edmundson Electrical, the UK’s largest electrical distributor, Sentor Electrical has significant financial strength to secure, supply and manage major MEP projects in the region.

Supported distribution agreements with some of the world’s most successful brands, Sentor Electrical has captured a large share of MEP projects in the past 20 years it has been conducting business in the Middle East.

From cable ties to full earthing and lightning installation design and supply, Sentor Electrical has a product solution to fit with most budgets on any size project, from a villa to an airport.

How has business been this year?

So far 2016 has been very exciting for Sentor Electrical as it expands its product offering with excellent brands along with newly formed specialised divisions.

As a recognised ELV system integrator, it now offers a solution that includes full design, supply and installation for data, intercom systems and, soon to be added, CCTV. This division has grown considerably since its formation, successfully executing many major projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

As part of Sentor Electrical expansion plans, a new lighting division has been formed and it has already experienced significant success in securing the lighting products for 200 villas on the District One project in Dubai as well as other wins for the new Dubai Parks and Resorts development.

This month, Sentor Electrical adds a brand new market within the construction sector with a newly formed mechanical supplies division. Already Sentor Electrical has secured a franchise for the world’s largest supplier of PICV valves and pumps, namely Crane Fluid Systems.

This is a leading brand of Crane Building Services & Utilities, which forms part of the Fluid Handling Group, a division of the parent company Crane Co, a New York Stock Exchange quoted company with a turnover of nearly $3bn.

Recent contracts?

Sentor has been fortunate to supply many large projects during 2015 and 2016, which include: the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Airport Concourse 1, Dragon Mart 2, City Walk, Akoya, Ruwais Housing, Meydan Villa, ADNOC HQ and many more.

Supply agreements include: GI conduits, earthing and lightning, PVC conduits, flexible conduits, ELV systems, rising main busbar, SWA cable glands, isolators and many more specialist products.

Current trends?

The region is in a mode of continuous development with great vision and thought for the technology of tomorrow.

With renewable energy becoming a very hot topic, Sentor Electrical manoeuvres itself to be in a prime position to supply this new significant market opportunity.
