A fire started at an under-construction building in Dubai's Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) locality on 6 August.

No injuries were reported from the blaze, Dubai Media Office tweeted.

The fire is reported to have started at midday.

"A spokesman said the fire was brought under control some five hours after it started," Reuters reported, citing Gulf News.

According to UAE daily Khaleej Times, the fire started at SKAI Holdings' 60-storey Viceroy Tower project.
