Taking into account the specific challenges faced by its customers in the region, Caterpillar had launched an upgraded version of 320 hydraulic excavator - CAT 320D2L excavator.

Equipped with a powerful and efficient Cat C7.1 engine, the Cat 320D2L Excavator, incorporates the exact innovations needed to accomplish tough jobs efficiently.

The engine in the previous series has been replaced with a powerful and efficient Cat C7.1, which reduces fuel consumption up to 5%.

A statement from the company read that emphasis has been put on enhancing the fuel system, which allows Cat machines to ensure reduced costs and lesser emissions.

With the low-pressure fuel system, Cat 320D2L assures lower downtimes and allows the engine to be more robust in areas with low-quality fuel.

The fuel system with improved fuel injection enables lower fuel consumption, while the high-efficiency main pump increases hydraulic system efficiency and delivers superior power, for best in class performance.

For reliability and long life of the equipment, modified X-frame structure has been added. The equipment assures performance, versatility, safety, durability, reliability and Cat’s standard attribute - ease of operation.

"As operator comfort is important to productivity, the new Cat 320D2L excavator offers world-class comfort levels ensuring full day operations. In terms of daily check-ups, the machine offers ground-level service access reducing the time taken to carry out maintenance," said the company statement.

The electric priming pump makes the machine reliable, by avoiding contamination to get into the fuel system when filters are changed. The excavator is capable of adopting plenty of attachment options, to fit application needs of its users.

In addition to the durability and robustness Cat offers, customers can avail this upgraded machine with support and services from the local Cat dealers Al-Bahar.
