How is Dubai Properties fixing JBR's parking woes?
CW reveals the details of Dubai Properties' partnership with GreenParking for a newly-opened parking facility in Jumeirah Beach Residence
Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), a part of Dubai Properties, has announced it has partnered with GreenParking to improve the locality's parking facilities.
The new facility, which commenced operations this August, comprises three new car parks and enhanced street parking.
Parking facilities at the waterfront destination are also expected to be upgraded with better signage, including clear indicators of parking space availability, valet parking, on-street VIP parking, and operators in all car parks to assist visitors.
Parking areas are located at Murjan Towers, Bahar Ramada Plaza Hilton, Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Resort, and on-street along JBR.
Consequently, JBR now comprises 600 parking spaces, with future plans set to increase this number.
Remarking on the development, Sam Alawiye, CEO of GreenParking, said: "Utilising 20 years of experience in car parking operations in Dubai, GreenParking has optimised available parking in the popular district whilst minimising on street parking violations at JBR.
"With easier identification via large and clear installed signage, the residents and visitors of JBR will experience upgradation in their parking facilities."
