Scientechnic lights up IMG Worlds of Adventure
Scientechnic's portfolio has been used for the theme park in Dubai, with the team working on the project since June 2015
Scientechnic has supplied lighting for IMG Worlds of Adventure.
In a statement on its website, the UAE company said it started working on the project in June 2015.
"The biggest challenge was to procure material in line with the requirements put forward by the consultant, contractor, and client," Scientechnic's statement continued.
"After three options were rejected by the consultant, we finally managed to offer a fourth one in line with client budget and consultant requirement. We had to offer a mixed solution comprising of European, Asian as well as local brands."
Retail lights for the development have been provided through a tie-up with Chinese manufacturer Signcomplex, Scientechnic added.
"As for the strip lighting, we joined hands with reputed US manufacturer Acolyte. Other brands [used for the development] include DGA, Philips Selecon, and Thornlux Lighting."
Scientechnic will also provide lighting controls through a package by Lutron.
"We have provided Lutron Quantum central Processor panels, Lutron DMX interface control modules, Lutron Dali modules, key pads, and iPad controls [that enable] color changing lights in various themes," the statement added.
"The Lutron central processor panels are then linked to a central park wide system with the BMS, which enables the client to control and monitor the operation remotely."
