Kahramaa connects 1913 customers to water networks

Kahramaa's efforts to meet the growing demand of an ever increasing customer base is evident as the number of connected customers grows.

During Q2 2016 Kahramaa connected 1913 new properties to water networks.

Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation, Kahramaa, has connected 1,913 new properties to water networks during the second quarter of 2016.

The section undertook numerous preventive and corrective maintenance works for 163 of its water constructions, including water pumping plants and water tanks.

During Q2, new water networks reaching 36km, with diameters ranging from 100m to 900m were established, to improve the performance of the water network and connect new customers.

Also, a water reservoir with nine million gallon capacity was established in the Al-Wukair area to boost water pumping and increase water storage in the area.

The average daily consumption during the Q2 2016 was 320 million gallons.
