UAE: Musanada completes maintenance of 289 schools

Engineers and specialists were sent to scope out the remit of preventive and corrective maintenance works required prior to the new academic year's commencement

Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) announced it has completed maintenance works at 289 schools across the emirate. 

Musanada carried out preventive and corrective maintenance works at these facilities. 

According to a report by WAM, Musanada's plan is to raise the schools' readiness before the start of the new academic year. 

Eng Hilal Abdullah Al Balooshi, acting executive director of FM at Musanada, said engineers and specialists were sent to schools across Abu Dhabi to assess their maintenance requirements. 

Among the key factors focused on were security, safety, and operational works, besides the conversion of certain areas into additional classrooms. 

Al Balooshi said that independent administrative bodies have been established for Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and the emirate's Western Region to speed up response time.
