A citizens’ housing project currently under construction in Fujairah’s Al Taween area has reached 95% completion, the UAE’s Ministry of Infrastructure Development has stated.

The development is on course to be handed over in October 2016, according to state news agency, WAM.

Finishing works are currently being conducted at the site following the completion of structural and electro-mechanical activities.

The Al Taween project’s two-storey houses feature three bedrooms, two sitting rooms, a guest bedroom, a maid’s room, a laundry room, a storeroom, three bathrooms, and two kitchens.

A release issued by the Ministry of Infrastructure Development also revealed that progress at Fujairah’s cultural centre has reached 55%. The project is due to complete in March 2017.

The ministry’s other Fujairah-based projects include the maintenance of several schools and a mosque.
