Tadweer inks $327m contracts for Abu Dhabi works
Deals for varied services have been awarded to firms such as Bee'ah, Averda, Eagle Environment, a Lavajet Abu Dhabi-Bin Harmal JV, Akar, and Prime Tech Diversified
Tadweer (Centre of Waste Management – Abu Dhabi; CWM) has inked contracts worth $327m (AED1.2bn) with Bee'ah, Averda, and a joint venture between Lavajet Abu Dhabi and Bin Harmal Hydroexport Est.
Contracts have been signed for the provision of waste collection and transportation, street sweeping, and cleaning services.
Separate agreements were also inked with Eagle Environment Services and Pest Control, Akar Landscaping Services and Agriculture, and Prime Tech Diversified Contracting for the delivery of public health pest control services.
Bee'ah was awarded a contract to provide waste collection, transportation, and street sweeping and cleaning services in Abu Dhabi City Zone 1, while Averda received two similar contracts each in Abu Dhabi City Zone 2 and the Northern Zone of Al Ain.
The Lavajet Abu Dhabi-Nael and Bin Harmal Hydroexport Est joint venture was awarded a contract for waste collection and transportation, street sweeping, and cleaning services in the Southern Zone of Al Ain.
These deals have a collective value of $299.4m (AED1.1bn).
Contracts signed with the three pest control firms amount to $38.1m (AED140m), and will be implemented on Yas Island, Al Raha Gardens, and the Mangroves Beach, WAM reported.
