Workspace outfit, Regus, has signed a deal to operate a business centre at United Tower in Manama, Bahrain.
The agreement was announced by real estate consultant and property management firm, CBRE, which manages the 200m-tall tower.
The business centre will be located on the building’s 34th floor. The serviced facility will feature 83 private offices and suites, a business lounge, and co-working spaces.
Commenting on the deal, Ahmed Al Qaed, developer and owner of United Tower, said: “Our alliance with leading global real estate consultant CBRE, and Regus, will allow us to further extend our unique offering and turnkey solutions to businesses [that] seek prime quality office space.”
Located within Manama’s Bahrain Bay area, the 50-storey United Tower boasts a twisting, octagonal floor structure. The building has 26,000m2 of commercial office space, and also includes a 262-room, five-star Wyndham Grand Collection hotel.
Richard Botham, senior director and general manager of CBRE, said: “United Tower is an iconic addition to Manama’s developing skyline. The commercial assets at the tower are competitively priced, versatile enough to suit the needs of most business models, [and] offer stylish amenities and ample parking space.
“CBRE is proud to include this remarkable building, which will accommodate international occupiers and local establishments, in our premium property portfolio. The addition of Regus will further diversify the solutions offered at the tower for businesses seeking smaller executive offices with flexible lease terms,” he concluded.
