Duserve has signed a five-year deal with Nakheel to provide facilities management services at Dubai's Ibn Battuta Mall
Duserve has been awarded a five-year facilities management (FM) contract by Nakheel to handle the developer's Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai.
The FM provider – owned by Dubai Aviation City Corporation, the parent organisation of Dubai South – will deliver operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the facility's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, fire and life safety, and building management system (BMS).
The company will offer round-the-clock mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP), audio-visual (AV), and public announcement (PA) management services. It will also conduct internal and external fabric and structure management services for the mall.
Remarking on the contract win, Ahmed Al Ansar, acting chief executive officer of Dubai South, said: "Securing this contract is a significant addition to Duserve’s expanding portfolio of offering FM solutions to key businesses in Dubai.
"Duserve is well equipped to understand the challenges that commercial, residential, industrial, retail and related facilities have in caring for multiple locations in various markets. We look forward to bringing our comprehensive suite of services to Ibn Battuta Mall, and we are confident that, through our innovative services, Ibn Battuta Mall will continue to be a leading destination in the UAE," Al Ansari added.
Duserve's clientele includes the VIP Terminal at Dubai South’s Aviation District, Dragon Mart 1 and 2, Dubai Duty Free Headquarters and Warehouse, and 52 schools under Abu Dhabi Education Council.
