FM deal worth $7.3m for UAE schools won by Macro
Macro won the three-year EKI contract following a tender process for Dubai's Repton School, Repton School Abu Dhabi, and Foremarke School Dubai
Facilities management (FM) service provider Macro announced it has been awarded a contract to manage three schools in the UAE.
The three-year integrated FM (IFM) contract was handed to Macro by Evolvence Knowledge Investments (EKI).
Worth $7.3m (AED27m), the deal was won by Macro following a tender process, and includes Dubai's Repton School, Repton School Abu Dhabi, and Foremarke School Dubai.
Macro will provide IFM services for a total area of 14.6ha.
The contents of the deal include a 24/7 helpdesk and computer aided FM (CAFM) system; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services; reactive and planned preventative maintenance; condition surveys; reviews of asset data; quality, health, safety, and environment (QHSE) services; budgeting; and, procurement of specialist FM contractors.
The contract marks Macro's second stint with Repton School in Dubai, where it previously provided a review of FM policies and procedures, and developed new and enhanced processes for the facility.

Repton School in Dubai has 2,200 pupils, while the other two facilities have a combined student strength of 1,000.
