Mirage has opened Project Point Dubai, its first Project Point facility outside of Italy.

Located in Dubai Design District (d3), the facility represents a collaborative space to be used by the UAE’s design community.

Mirage coordinated the opening of Project Point Dubai to coincide with Dubai Design Week. The firm also presented a series of industry talks to mark the facility’s opening week.

Eleanor Joslin, manager of Mirage Project Point Dubai, commented: “We were thrilled by the response we had to our debut programme of talks at the Project Point, and the positive feedback we received from visitors about the space, with many registering their interest in using the venue for workshops, hot-desking, and talks – which is what it’s designed to offer.”

Talks held at the Mirage facility during Dubai Design Week covered topics such as fire safety in façade design, and the preservation of ideas through the protection of intellectual property (IP).

Representatives from WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, Thomas Bell-Wright, Khatib & Alami, Lever Building Materials, and Avid Intellectual Property, participated in Mirage’s programme.

Pallavi Dean Interiors, the firm responsible for the design of Mirage Project Point Dubai, also held a talk about the creation of contemporary commercial spaces.
